Lost Property

Please label ALL clothes, toys and personal possessions. The nursery CANNOT take responsibility for lost articles which are not FULLY labelled. Please also ensure that your children are appropriately dressed in warm clothing for the colder weather. We will still be out and about in ALL weathers. Thank you.
ECO SCHOOL SCOTLAND – GREEN FLAG!

We did it! We have achieved our 2nd green flag! We are totally delighted that our efforts have paid off. Our Eco Committee have been extremely busy ensuring that we are a sustainable nursery. Your hard work has had a very positive impact on our nursery environment. Well done everyone! We have a number of ongoing Eco projects happening at the moment.
Life Skills Awards

We have been busy working through our Life Skills Awards in each of our rooms. These are on display outside EACH playroom. Please help us by reinforcing these very important life skills at home too.
Fund Raising

Our recent MacMillan coffee morning was a great success. We raised £167.22 for this very worthy cause. Many thanks to all who contributed.

Please see Kerryn if you would like an order form. Our uniform is very durable and it doesn’t matter so much if it gets a bit messy! We can order any time for you.
Extra-Curricular Learning Opportunities

Messy Children are Happy Children

In the lovely summer weather we have been playing outside as much as possible. Water walls, mud kitchen, sand tray, shaving foam, playdough, construction, loose play, minibeast hunts, hedgehog preservation and so much more! We are having so much fun but sorry if we come home a bit messy!
Aberdeen City Council Pre-School Funding – Session 2019/20

If you still have to complete these forms, PLEASE do so asap to ensure that you receive the funding that you are entitled to at the correct time. Application forms received on or before 31st August will be included in the term 1 payment.
Split Nursery Placements

If any of our children are attending a school nursery (or other private nursery) as well as KingsWellies, please let Marcia know asap. We would really like to ensure that we have a good dialogue with any other nurseries so that we are all planning and communicating appropriately about your child’s needs, next steps and progress.
