1140 Hours Childcare Funding
3-5 Year Old Funding
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 1140 hours of funded Early Learning and Childcare. Start dates depend on their date of birth.
Children are entitled to up to 1140 hours of funded ELC and will also receive a free meal if they attend 4 or more consecutive hours per day at a setting and attend over a mealtime.
The private sector funding process does not commence until July. We will keep you fully informed about the application process. We will inform you as soon as we receive the relevant funding information from the Council.
